Adding users
Adding users can be done individually or in bulk.
Admin users and department bosses are the ones who can add users to their teams on Timetastic.
Bulk upload:
Adding users in bulk can be done from an excel spreadsheet. There's no limit to the number you can upload and this often proves the quickest way if you have a large team - we have a dedicated article with all the details on uploading in bulk here.
One by one:
Adding users individually is done from the USERS menu. It's the way most new accounts will use when adding one or two users for testing purposes, or for established accounts bringing on board their new team members.
Once in the Users menu, click '+ Add someone' in the top right.
Enter your employee's details into the form.
Select when their leave year starts.
Employees can have their allowance allocated in either days or hours. Tick the 'Email login details' option for an immediate invite to the employee, otherwise you can send it later.
Timetastic Pro users can have their allowance accrue on a monthly basis.
Once the form is complete, click 'Save user'.
For employees starting partway through their leave year, Timetastic will suggest a pro rated allowance. It can be edited by clicking the pro-rated figure. To agree the pro rata click 'Yes' - or select 'No' if you want to allocate their full annual allowance.

Once your employee has been added, you can add any additional information to their profile.
You can also adjust their work schedule by clicking the 'Schedule' tab.
Public Holidays can be set under the 'Allowance' tab.
Remember to click 'Save Changes' after making any amendments.
Users invite:
If you ticked the 'Email login details' box on the 'Add a user' form, your new employee will receive an email with a link to login. At their first login they'll be asked to create their own unique password.
