Moving to Timetastic - data import

Although it seems clean to switch to Timetastic at your year-end, we see lots of new customers start mid-year.

If you do start mid-year we suggest inputting your leave data back to the beginning of the year. It's a sensible idea as you end up with a complete year on one system. 

Although we don't offer an upload facility for this, creating the bookings is not too difficult if you follow these tips:

1. If an admin or manager inputs the data then it skips the approval process and the time off is fully booked in.
2. If you click the day and staff member on the Wallchart (or a user's calendar) then the booking form pops up pre-populated. You can also click and drag across multiple dates to highlight a range to input e.g. a weeks leave. 
3. Timetastic would normally send a confirmation email out to users for each time off booking. You can avoid this by unticking the 'Email Login Details' box during the upload of users. Once you're entered all historic leave and you're ready for staff to start using Timetastic, send out their invite emails.
