When an employee is reactivated, a prorated debit will be added to your account for the upcoming billing cycle. For more information on how billing works in Rota & Time Clock, click here.
Why reactivate?
If an employee returns to work after being archived, you can reactivate their account. Archiving an employee retains their profile, making it easier to reactivate them when needed without losing any historical data.
To reactive:
Hover over the 'HR tab'
Select the 'Employees' option
Click on 'Archived'
Find the employee from the list and click on the 3 dots
Click on 'Reactivate'.
You can choose whether to reactivate the employee now or later.
If you decide to reactivate the profile now, click on 'Invite this employee now'.
The employee will receive an email invitation to join your organisation again.
Important notes:
Once employee is reactivated, they'll have access to your Rota & Time Clock organisation as their previous Rota & Time Clock role.
If a departure date was entered in the employee's profile, they may be automatically re-archived straight after reactivation. To avoid this, use custom fields to note start and end dates instead of the standard departure date field.
If the invitation was not sent to the employee while reactivating the profile, you can send it later.
Pro Tip: You can reactivate an employee in advance if needed.
