The Time Clock app turns your tablet into a dedicated clock-in and clock-out terminal for employees. Here are a few tips to help you get everything set up smoothly.
Install the Time Clock app
Download the Timetastic Time Clock app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Sign into your Rota & Time Clock account
Click the '+' icon in the top-right corner
Enter a name for the terminal
Select the location(s) that can use the terminal
Click 'Save'
Click 'Activate'.
Your terminal is now ready for employees to use.
Use kiosk mode (recommended)
If your tablet supports kiosk mode, we strongly recommend turning it on.
Kiosk mode locks the tablet to a single app, helping to prevent employees from accidentally closing the Time Clock app or accessing other applications and settings.
Most modern Android tablets and iPads offer some form of kiosk or guided access mode.
Choose the right hardware
The Time Clock app works on most modern tablets, but choosing a reliable device will make day-to-day use much easier.

A few extra tips
Keep the tablet plugged in whenever possible
Use a stable internet connection
Mount the tablet in a visible and easily accessible location
Consider using a secure wall mount or stand to protect the device
Avoid regularly clearing browser or device data if you're using the tablet for clocking purposes.
