Reports - Exporting your scheduling data (shifts and time off)

Need to analyse your costs and resources? Want to look at shift and holidays over a specific date range?

No problem, you can export all your data into Excel - and store, analyse, filter, and pivot till your hearts content.

This guide specifically covers reporting on rota shifts and time off - under the 'Scheduling' section.

We have separate guides that cover Attendance and People data reports.

'Reports' can be found from the main menu on the left hand side.

Note: All reports can be exported with customised dates, specific positions or locations.

Hours and cost

The hours and cost report exports the total rotated hours per employee. If you want costs to be displayed, hourly rates need to be added to the employee's profiles.

Labour cost

Most commonly used in the hospitality industry, this report exports the percentage of rotated cost over the budgeted revenues.

Note: To get the most useful information from this report, it's best to enter the actual income into the budget calculator when known.

Leave per employee

This will export the amount of each leave type, per employee.

Resources

Generates a report that gives the total hours rotated per resource.

Shifts and leave

Generates a list of all rotated shifts and time off. It can be personalised with multiple options. We generally recommend grouping by employee.

Shift tasks

Generates a list of tasks and related details.

Requests

Generates a list of the different types of requests. Can be filtered in two ways:

  1. By the type of request (time off, shift transfers, open shifts)

  2. By request status (approved, declined, cancelled)

When exporting time off, you can also filter by leave type.

Time banks

Generates a list of time banks for each employee

Time bank transactions

Generates a list of transactions that have taken place in the selected time bank.
