If you don't want your employees to start their working day before the rotad time, you can activate automated clock-in times.
1- Automation
Automations are used to bring the start time back to the rotad time.
1.1 How the automation works
Shift start rounding is used to bring any time entries that were *clocked in earlier* back to the rotad time, according to a set time window.
1.2- Activate the automation
An administrator can activate the rounding of entries by following these steps:
Go to the "Settings" tab of the main menu
Click on "Attendance" and go to the "Automation" section
Enable "Use the rotad start time when employees clock in early"
Set the time window, ex. 15min and save
1.3 Conditions to be respected
For automated clock-in to work, these time entries must have been clocked in by your employees.
This means that time entries that have been clocked in automatically or that have been created manually by you or your employees will not be rounded.
In addition, your rota must always be published BEFORE the rotad shift.
