If your organisation has switched on mobile clocking, you can use the Rota & Time Clock app to clock in and out directly from your phone.
Before you start
You'll need:
Your phone with the Rota & Time Clock app installed
An internet connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi)
Location services enabled on your device
An active Rota & Time Clock account
Important: Rota & Time Clock does not track your location throughout the day. Your location is only recorded at the moment you clock in or out.
Clocking in, taking breaks and clocking out
Open the app and go to Home menu option
Tap the Clock button at the bottom of the screen
If required by your organisation, you'll need to be within the approved clocking area
Select one of the following options:
Clock in to start your shift
Paid or Unpaid break to start or end a break
Leaving work to finish your shift
š” You can add a note for your manager before submitting your clocking action. This can be useful if you're running late or need to provide additional information.
Clocking out when you're away from site
Some organisations allow employees to clock out after leaving the workplace.
If this setting is switched on, you'll be asked to provide:
The actual time you finished work
A reason for clocking out away from site
Both fields will need completing before you can clock-out.
Checking your hours
To check your hours have been recorded correctly:
Open the Timesheet tab in the mobile app (clock icon)
Click onto the dates to view your recorded time entries
On the web platform, the same information can be found under Attendance.
If something doesn't look right, contact your manager so they can check your timesheet.
