Your organisation can choose from several different clocking methods in Rota & Time Clock. If you're not sure which one you should be using, please check with your manager.
Ways to clock:
Clocking in using a fixed terminal
A fixed terminal is set up by your organisation on a tablet or computer.
To use it, you'll need your personal clocking PIN, which can be found in your profile under your name.
Simply enter your PIN on the terminal when starting and finishing work.
Clocking in using the mobile app
You can clock in and out directly from the Rota & Time Clock mobile app.
To use mobile clocking:
Make sure your device is connected to the internet
Enable location services on your phone
Open the app and use the clocking feature when you start and finish work
Your location is only recorded at the moment you clock in or out. The app does not track your location before or after that.
Clocking in using a computer
If your organisation allows computer clocking, you can clock in and out through your online account.
Simply sign in to your Rota & Time Clock account and use the clocking option provided by your employer.
Depending on your organisation's settings, you may need to be connected to an approved company network.
Entering hours manually
Some organisations allow employees to add their own time entries instead of clocking in and out.
If this option is enabled, you can enter your working hours directly from the web platform or mobile app.
