Your organisation's default leave settings will apply to all employees unless you choose to override them.
If someone has a different working pattern or leave entitlement, you can customise their leave settings within their employee profile.
If an employee works different hours from the rest of your team, you can give them their own default leave duration (ie. hours per day), instead of using the company's setting.
How to set an employee's leave duration (hours per day)
To change the default leave duration for an employee, head to HR > Employees and click an employee to open their profile.
Click the Settings option
Under Leave duration, toggle on 'Override the organisation's default leave length'
Enter the number of hours per day
Click Save.
This value will be used automatically whenever you approve a leave request or create leave for that employee manually.
Note: You can still change the leave duration on individual requests if needed.
Set custom leave allowances
If an employee is entitled to a different number of days or hours than everyone else, you can give them their own annual allowance(s).
To do this, head to HR > Employees and click an employee to open their profile.
Click the Settings option
Under the leave type you want to edit, toggle on 'Override the organisation's default settings'
In the Default allowance field, enter the specific number of days/hours
Click Save.
The employee will now use their own leave allowance instead of the organisation's default for that leave type.
