When you export a budget report, the currency shown in Excel is controlled by your Excel settings. You can either change it for a single report or update your computer settings so future reports use a different currency by default.
Change the currency for one report
Open the exported Excel file and select the cells containing currency values.
1. Click Format > Cells (or right-click and select Format Cells)
3. Open the Number tab
4. Select Currency from the list of categories
5. Choose the currency you want from the Symbol dropdown
6. Click OK.
The selected currency will be applied to that report only.
Change the currency for all future reports
If you want Excel reports to always use a different currency, you'll need to update your computer's regional settings.
Open your device's System Settings
Go to Language and Region (or the equivalent regional settings section)
Select the country or region that uses your preferred currency
Save the changes.
Future Excel exports will use the currency associated with the selected region.
Note: If you're sharing reports with people in different countries, it's often easiest to change the currency within the individual Excel file rather than updating your system-wide settings.
