There's may be several reasons why your employees can't see their rota. This guide will explain the steps to take.
The Rota hasn't been published
The most common reason employees are unable to view their rota is that it hasn't been published. Filters applied during the publishing process may have accidentally excluded certain employees from seeing their shifts or positions.
Against the employee's schedule, check whether any shifts show 'Unpublished', or have a dotted outline. Also, check whether any filters have been applied that restrict visibility of certain shifts.
If this is the case, simply publish your rota using the 'Publish' button. Before publishing, clear any active filters to ensure the rota is visible to all employees.
The pencil icon will be replaced by a crossed out eye, which means that the rota has been published, but hasn't yet been viewed by the employee.
The employee set up a demo account by mistake
Some employees accidentally create an brand new company account rather than joining your organisation. The easiest way to check this is to see whether the employee has access to the 'Settings' menu option - as an employee shouldn't have this unless you've given them an administrator role.
If the employee can access the settings, or the organisation name is not exactly the same as yours, they're not logged in to your company's account.
Send them the invitation email, to the same email address they used, by going to HR > Employees > Invitations and click on the envelope button to the right of their name.
The employee can then go to 'My invitations' and accept the invitation.
We recommend they delete the account they accidentally created by going to Settings > General and clicking 'Permanently Delete'.
This will avoid any further confusion.
The employee has more then one employer using Rota & Time Clock
Your employees may have more than one employer who is using Rota & Time Clock, and may be connected to their other employer's organisation.
Ask them to confirm in the top left-hand corner that they are logged into your organisation's account.
