Timetastic provide a comprehensive Audit Trail for changes to your configuration and settings, it'll allow you to see what data has been changed, who changed it and when.
You'll find an audit trail in your Timetastic account under:
SETTINGS > REPORTING
Clicking "Download your audit trail" will open the date selector for you to pick the date range for your audit trail:
After clicking download you may have to wait a few seconds before the download starts while the report is produced. Note you can only download audits as far back as 20th May 2018 as audit data was not collected before this date.
Auditing only records changes to your account such as updates to users, changes to department settings etc. Actions on leave bookings aren't included (as they're covered by the other reports), only changes to your account settings and users.
Audits are in Excel and contain the following fields. A brief explanation is provided.
|Date/ Time||When the action happened|
|IP Address||The IP address making the change|
|Action||What action was performed|
|Triggered By||Whether the action was triggered by a given user or Timetastic itself (for example the annual carry forward is done by Timetastic itself)|
|Triggered By Details||The name and email address of the user who made the change|
|Target Type||What data field was changed|
|Target Id||The record ID of the item that changed ( this is handy if you've got 2 users/department with the same name)|
|Target Name||The name of the record that's changed (so the leave type name, user's name, organisation name etc)|
|New Values||The new values of the fields that changed.|
