Privacy Modes: Hide Leave Types
Privacy Modes are set within SETTINGS > GENERAL.
With "Hide Leave Types" set to Hidden, the 'Leave Type' information is restricted so only viewable by:
- An employee's Approver
- Their Department Boss
- Your Timetastic Admin users
Users can see their co-workers are off, but not the reason why they are off.
The coloured squares on the Wall Chart and Calendar are replaced by dark blue.
Department Bosses can see the reasons his/her team are off, but not for another department.
Admins - of course, can see everything.
Hide Leave Types is a global setting, and can be found in SETTINGS > GENERAL, toggle it on or off as you see fit.

Slack and iCal feeds
It's worth being aware that if you use the Timetastic Slack integration then it will also honour the setting here when posting absence summaries in Slack. The Department and Organisation iCal feeds will also hide leave types if this setting is switched on.
