Once turned on, these lists of public holidays will automatically populate on your calendar and Wallchart, showing them as a day off work.
Note: These lists of Public holidays DO NOT deduct from the annual allowance. They are in addition to the annual allowance. If your employment contracts state an annual allowance which includes public holidays we advise you to enter your allowances in Timetastic minus the public holidays.
1. Assigning public holidays to employees
Public holidays are set on an individual basis from within an employee's personal profile. You just check a box if that employee is entitled to public holidays in addition to their annual allowance, and select which country/ region public holidays they're entitled to.
Select 'USERS' from the main menu.
Click on the employee's name to take you to their profile page.
Click into the 'Allowance' tab
Use the drop down selector to choose the appropriate country and region and click 'Save changes'. These dates will now appear in the employee's Calendar.
Note: You can use the Multi select/ bulk update if you need to alter the public holiday settings for multiple employees at once.
2. Public holidays settings
Navigating to SETTINGS > PUBLIC HOLIDAYS will land you on the settings page for each location.
From here, click the region you are interested in to look at the list of dates. You can add or remove dates from the lists if you need.
